Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino says Harry Kane was "very sad" after a tweet from the FA Cup’s official account mocked him during Spurs’ semi-final defeat to Manchester United.

The Football Association apologised to Tottenham and Manchester United for the post, which jokingly asked Chris Smalling what was in his pocket. A short unrelated video of the defender showed him saying "Harry Kane".
Both clubs were unimpressed by the tweet.
"It was embarrassing," Pochettino said. "It was a shame, because the FA is English football and Harry Kane is a potential captain in the World Cup. It is difficult to understand, very difficult and they have apologised about that.
"The situation disappointed me. The fact it happened, then they apologised after a few days. But move on. That is the reality. We need to protect our assets, our English players, our young players.
"Harry was very sad. But he’s strong in his mind. He’s moved on. We are helping him to move on. It was a mistake and he needs to move on quick."
Kane was also ridiculed after claiming a Christian Eriksen free-kick brushed off him earlier in April, with Premier League golden boot rival Mohamed Salah and PFA chairman Ben Purkiss among those to poke fun.
