Football news - Newport set up dream Man City tie after dumping Boro out the FA Cup

League Two side Newport County beat Middlesbrough 2-0 in their FA Cup fourth-round replay on Wednesday to set up a clash against Premier League champions Manchester City.
Second-half goals from Robbie Willmott and Padraig Amond helped Newport secure a deserved victory over Championship outfit Boro.
Newport’s reward for the upset is a home tie against City on February 16.
Meanwhile, Wolves recovered from a goal down to see off League One strugglers Shrewsbury Town, with Ivan Cavaleiro netting the winner in a 3-2 victory at Molineux.
Wolves led after two minutes thanks to defender Matt Doherty, but were behind by after goals from James Bolton and Josh Laurent.
Doherty’s second of the match levelled the tie six minutes into first-half stoppage time, while Cavaleiro’s strike came in the 62nd minute.
Wolves head to Bristol City on February 16 for their fifth-round tie.
Elsewhere, Brentford beat Barnet 3-1 to book a trip to Swansea City in the next round.
QPR overcame Portsmouth 2-0 and will face Watford at home in their bid to reach the quarter-finals.
