FT: ARSENAL ARE THE FA CUP CHAMPIONS! The goal that won Arsenal a record 14th FA Cup crown was worthy of winning any match from Aubameyang, and underlined just how important he is to this Arsenal side. It is the Europa League for Arsenal, with Wolves missing out on Europe as a result! Thanks for joining us. Goodnight.
- OffKieran TierneyArsenal
- OnSead KolašinacArsenal
Arsenal do get Kolasinac onto the pitch as he takes the place of Kieran Tierney. He'll get a few seconds.
Pedro's time in England ends of a stretcher. Not the final memory he would have wanted...
Delay in play here as Pedro receives some treatment. His game may be up, which is not how he would have wanted to bow out.
NO PENALTY! Pedro goes sprawling to the floor looking for a penalty, but the referee is having none of it.
Abraham cannot quite latch onto the loose ball in the penalty area. Chelsea are committing more and more bodies forward.
Aimless crosses galore here from Chelsea. They are not getting anywhere.
Seven minutes of added time at the end of this. Plenty of time!
- Yellow cardRoss BarkleyChelsea
Yellow card for Barkley now for a late lunge on Nketiah. Chelsea offering very little as a threat here.
- OffDavid LuizArsenal
- OnSokratis PapastathopoulosArsenal
Change for Arsenal with David Luiz seemingly limping off, and Sokratis on in his pace.
Pepe clips a cross into the middle but it is cleared by Chelsea.
- OffAlexandre LacazetteArsenal
- OnEddie NketiahArsenal
Nothing given on Martinez. Change for Arsenal, with Eddie Nketiah on for Lacazette.
Did Martinez handle that outside the penalty area? VAR will have a look.
- OffOlivier GiroudChelsea
- OnTammy AbrahamChelsea
Triple change for Chelsea. One final roll of the dice. Mount, Giroud and Rudiger make way for Tammy Abraham, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ross Barkley.
Won't be on Chelsea's Christmas card list for sure.
That must be a first, with Arteta shown a yellow card on the bench! First manager to be booked in a FA Cup final.
- Yellow cardAntonio RüdigerChelsea
Chelsea are losing their heads a little here, with Rudiger the next to go into the book.
- Red cardMateo KovacicChelsea
RED CARD! Second yellow card for Kovacic and he is off. Did not look to be much in that to be honest. Xhaka seemed to make the most of the foul.
He just cannot stop scoring in this competition.
What can Chelsea do here? Without Pulisic they look much less of a threat.
Just to underline his importance to this club that bit further. Great pass from Pepe across for Aubameyang, but it is all about the skipper's footwork to skip past Zouma before clipping a sublime finish past Caballero.
- GoalPierre-Emerick AubameyangArsenal
GGGOOOAAALLLL!!! Arsenal 2-1 Chelsea. Super finish from Aubameyang as Arsenal take the lead.
Still we await anything like the goalmouth action of the first half.
Mount with a lovely low cross, but there is nobody there to get on the end of it.
Would be another nice moment to add to his tale...
James is the latest to shoot well over the top.
James swings the ball in from the right and it's over the head of Holding but Alonso doesn't anticipate it as it drifts out for a throw-in.
Very scrappy still as Xhaka shoots well over the top.
The steins will be flowing in Bavaria.
Pace has gone from this, which is a shame. Needs a moment of magic to reignite this.
Chelsea seeing all of the ball here, but not doing as much with it.
A penny for Callum Hudson-Odoi's thoughts? He was the next big thing not so long ago, but he wasn't even considered as Pulisic's replacement there.
- OffChristian PulisicChelsea
Pedro is the man to come on for Chelsea.
Oh no! Catastrophe for Chelsea as Pulisic limps off! He seemed to pull his hamstring as he pulled the trigger. An awful sight for Chelsea fans.
CLOSE! Brilliant from Pulisic once more, as he single-handedly takes the attack to Arsenal, but shoots just wide at the end of a fine run.
- 2nd Half
KICK OFF! We are back under way. No further changes for either side.
Quite the record...
N'Golo may be able to get a grip of this Arsenal midfield.
- End of 1st Half
HT: Arsenal 1-1 Chelsea. Super, super game. There is so much space in behind both of these defences, with chances galore, especially for a final. Pulisic caused Arsenal lots of problems early on, scoring a great opener, but Arsenal battled back into the contest well.
- Yellow cardMason MountChelsea
Yellow card for Mount for a foul on Ceballos.
Pace has gone out of Arsenal's play at the end of the half.
Zouma sweeps up Luiz's searching ball forward for Aubameyang. Alonso collects the loose ball from Bellerin as Chelsea build from the back.
WIDE! Free-kick is hit with venom from Alex Lacazette, but that is always flying wide. Fives minutes of time added on at the end of the half.
Arsenal do not want half time to come. They are well on top at the moment.
Pepe clips a cross to the back post, Caballero comes flapping, and gets just a fingertip to it to divert the ball behind for a corner.
The moment that could have changed the course of this.
Not the reshuffle Chelsea wanted at this stage.
CHANCE! Another fine Chelsea move, with Mount pulling it back for Jorginho, but the Italian gets underneath his shot.
Pulling a Phil Jones face, too.
- OffCésar AzpilicuetaChelsea
- OnAndreas ChristensenChelsea
That's that for Azpilicueta. Not his day, so sure. Andreas Christensen is the man to come on.
Azpilicueta is the latest to stay down, and it does not look good for the Chelsea skipper.
David Luiz leaves Giroud in pain, holding his back. Didn't seem to be much in it.
- Goal by penaltyPierre-Emerick AubameyangArsenal
Just what Arsenal needed that goal. After the drinks break they have been the better team.
GGGOOOOAAALLLLL!!! Arsenal 1-1 Chelsea. Penalty is given and, cool as you like, Aubameyang makes it 1-1.
- Yellow cardCésar AzpilicuetaChelsea
VAR is having a look, for where the contact took place, in or outside the box. Azpilicueta is given a yellow in the meantime for the foul.
PENALTY TO ARSENAL! Azpilicueta is all over Aubameyang, hauling the Gunners skipper to the ground. Anthony Taylor points to the spot.
NO GOAL! Pepe thunders the ball into the net, but the linesman had his flag up for some time, with Aubameyang straying offside in the build up.
Drinks break! Relief for Arsenal, really.
Aubameyang chases one over the top, but Reece James is across to see the ball out for a Chelsea throw.
Maitland-Niles appears to be Arsenal's best outlet here. He is causing Cesar Azpilicueta problems.
Doing for the guys back home.
OVER! Ceballos fires the ball towards goal, but it flies over the top.
Chance for Arsenal here as Dani Ceballos wins a free-kick in a dangerous position.
Arsenal just need get their foot on the ball and try to regroup.
It is all about the man from across the pond so far...
SAVE! My word, in this form Pulisic is unstoppable. Arsenal cannot get the ball off his as he dances past several defenders before forcing Martinez into another save.
Straight down the other end Pepe forces Willy Cabellero into his first save. So open this game.
What a start from Chelsea! Super move, with Mount threading the ball across for Olivier Giroud, who flicks the ball into Pulisic. The American still has plenty to do, but shows great footwork to skip past his man before slotting the ball into the bottom corner.
- GoalChristian PulisicChelsea
GGGOOOOOAAAALLLLL!!!! Arsenal 0-1 Chelsea. Brilliant finish from Christian Pulisic as Chelsea take an early lead!
SAVE! Great start to this. Mason Mount carries the attack to Arsenal, has options either side, but goes for the curler, forcing a fine save from Emiliano Martinez in the Arsenal goal.
CHANCE! Brilliant work from Ainsley Maitland-Niles to get the cross into the middle, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is there, but cannot guide the header on target.
- 1st Half
KICK OFF! So here we go. The knee has been taken and Chelsea get us up and running.
Just prior to kick off in the Heads Up FA Cup final, there is a message about the importance of seeking support for those with mental health problems. We are under way shortly.
So here we go! It is the latest the FA Cup final has ever been played, and with no fans present, it is a strange spectacle to say the least. The national anthem has still be observed, however, with the choir spread through the empty stands. We are minutes away!
Ahead of kick off, there is still time to catch up with the latest transfer gossip from across Europe as Manchester City and Barcelona plan a surprise swap deal.

Who needs it more?
THE CUP KING: Giroud has been involved in 24 goals in 30 FA Cup appearances (16 goals, 8 assists). The Frenchman has also had a hand in three goals in four final appearances in the competition (1 goal, 2 assists), with both his assists being for the winning goal (2014 and 2017). He will be aiming to become just the second player to score for and against a specific side (Arsenal) in separate FA Cup finals after Frank Stapleton, who netted against Man Utd in the 1979 final (for Arsenal) and then for the Red Devils in the 1983 final (vs Brighton).
David Luiz v Oliver Giroud - Will cup king Giroud again produce the goods at Wembley, or will David Luiz chose today to have one of THOSE days?
A strange scene indeed.
Clarification on Willian absence.
HEAD TO HEAD: This is the third time Arsenal and Chelsea have faced each other in the FA Cup final, with the Gunners winning the previous two showcases (in 2002 and 2017) - no fixture has been played more in the final (excluding replays). Chelsea have won just one of their last 13 FA Cup games against Arsenal (D4 L8), beating them 2-1 in the 2009 semi-final, courtesy of goals from Florent Malouda and a late Didier Drogba winner.
Something to fall back on for Arsenal fans this afternoon...
A special guest has travelled with today's Chelsea squad...
OZIL NOT IN SQUAD, KANTE ON BENCH: Mesut Ozil is not in the country - the club are aware of his whereabouts - so is not in the Arsenal squad. It is a three-man defence for the Gunners, as it was against Man City in the semi-final. For Chelsea, N'Golo Kante is only fit enough for a place on the bench, while again Kepa Arrizabalaga is dropped by Frank Lampard, with Willy Caballero in goal for the Blues. There is no WIllian in the matchday squad.
TEAM NEWS - ARSENAL: Martinez, Holding, David Luiz, Tierney, Bellerin, Xhaka, Ceballos, Maitland-Niles, Pepe, Lacazette, Aubameyang...
