Alderweireld's header from a right-wing corner hits DCL and loops just over. Spurs work a short routine from the following one and it comes to nothing. The visitors would have been better firing that straight into the mixer given how Everton have defended set pieces so far.

Another flowing Spurs break ends with Son's strike from the right side of the box looping just over via a deflection.

Bergwijn's fizzing shot is straight at Olsen after Son's effort deflected perfectly into the Dutchman's path.

Sanchez makes a super block to deny Richarlison. The ball isn't completely clear and Godfrey tests Lloris with a pile-driver from 30 yards out.

Everton refuse to take the opportunity to clear their lines on the edge of the box and could so easily have been punished. Eventually Son takes aim from 25 yards but sees his low shot smothered by Olsen.

STAT: Everton are hoping to reach the FA Cup quarter-final for the first time since 2015-16. They have lost their past four ties in the competition against fellow Premier League side.

Spurs should be ahead. Lucas Moura drives through the middle and puts Everton under immediate pressure. It's fed wide to Bergwijn who clips a delightful ball into the middle for Lamela. His header is magnificently kept out by Olsen with Lucas Moura somehow lashing the rebound wide.

I am always trying to get better and I want to produce performances of as good a quality as I can. They have been coming along in the past few games and the team is playing better, which helps.”

Robin Olsen: “I knew I would have the competition with Jordan (Pickford) but I have seen if I train well, I will get my chances and if I play well, I will get more chances. Jordan is a really nice guy and to train with a top goalie makes me much better. You should want to improve yourself every day and I feel I am getting better all the time with Everton.”

We don’t forget that final but it’s there closed in the pocket and the moment will arrive. Jose Mourinho on Dele Alli, who is on the bench tonight: “Dele's not injured; he can train with the team. He went through a process of not training and trained with the sports science people and then jumped to team work, which he did on Monday for the first time. Nothing changed, what maybe changed is the speculation around him because in this moment everybody knows that he's a Tottenham player and he doesn't go to any place. So probably the end of the speculation and will be end the questions. He can train and he can try to help the team because this is what we want."
