Paper Round: Mustafi, Ozil up for sale at Arsenal, Man City set to break transfer record
Shkodran Mustafi and Mesut Ozil are among the names linked with an Arsenal exit this summer, while Manchester City could break their transfer record. It’s Tuesday’s Paper Round.
FOR SALE: Mustafi, Ozil
Paper Round’s view: With Arsenal head coach Unai Emery reportedly set for a £45m summer budget, it’s no surprise to see names linked with a move away. Question is, who will sign these players, and for how much? It is hard to see them getting more than £45m combined for the five names above – yes, including Ozil. City to break the bank?
Paper Round’s view: With City’s scouts and director of football, Txiki Begiristain, reportedly watching Rodri, this seems like a move which has legs this summer. Big boots to fill if you’re viewed as Fernandinho’s replacement, but Rodri has the potential the step into that role.
Salah to Real – really?
Paper Round’s view: All eyes on the Twitter account of Salah’s agent once more… It is very difficult to take these reports seriously, particularly with Liverpool in the midst of a Champions League and Premier League battle. That, and the seemingly permanent smile on Salah’s face.

Chelsea in for Coutinho?
La Liga Santander - Villarreal v FC Barcelona - Estadio de la Ceramica, Villarreal, Spain - April 2, 2019 Barcelona's Philippe Coutinho celebrates scoring their first goalReuters
Paper Round’s view: With Christian Pulisic arriving at Chelsea in the summer already, is there room for Coutinho too? Speculation could all be pointless, of course, as Chelsea are yet to hear if their transfer ban will be overturned.
