Fenerbahçe have signed Serbian striker Mateja Kezman from Atlético Madrid on four-year contract. The 27 year-old failed to settle at the Spanish club after an 8.5 million euro move from Chelsea last summer.

"I'm here to win a lot of trophies and score a lot of goals. I think Fenerbahçe have a lot of quality and with a coach like (Brazilian) Zico we have the capacity to win a lot," he said.
Kezman was signed by Chelsea in 2004 after hitting 105 goals in 123 games for PSV Eindhoven, though struggled to establish himself and was often relegated to the bench.
Despite playing a more prominent role for Atlético, his return of just eight goals was below expectations, and the arrivals of Sergio Agüero and Mista prompted his departure.
Kezman will now look to fill the void left be French striker Nicolas Anelka, who has moved to Bolton Wanderers.
