FULL-TIME. That's it. One goal apiece - probably a fair result in the end, and a couple of very good finishes to make the spectacle even more sparkling. Fervent atmosphere, good fun (and full-blooded) match. Thanks for joining me.
Three minutes to be added on here.
Ekici repaces Benzia.
Vida has taken a smack to the face from Slimani, which does mostly look accidental.
Free kick to Fenerbahce, swung in to the box from about 40 yards, but it comes to nothing.
The home fans are restless - more so than usual - and urging their team on as they stand tentatively outside the Besiktas box.
CHANCE! Vida rises to meet the ball in from the right, but he's falling backwards as he gets his head to it, and it's over the bar.
GOAL! Fenerbahce are back in it, and what a roar! A smart cross from the left, and a majestic leap from Ayew to nod that away!
Whistling from the crowd as Besiktas have the audacity to make a double sub, Larin and Ljajic coming on.
Great last-ditch challenge by Vida! He slides in to hack the ball into touch, staying away from the foul and from the box.
Oguzhan is the next man into the book, for a very high boot.
Next substitution - Aatif off, Valbuena on.
First booking of the night goes to Reyes. Pretty surprised we got to the hour mark, but there we go.
Pepe sweeps into the centre circle and sprays out a lovely pass to Quaresma on the right.

First sub - Topal off, Eljif on.
Benzia is claiming he's been shoved in the back and possibly trodden on as well.
Quaresma bundles over Ayew and tells the referee he was going for the ball. He may well have been, but that's still a foul.
Quaresma is twisting and turning in the box, and being closed down tightly.
Slimani is still chasing every ball down. Got to feel for his lack of return so far.
Second half - here we go.
HALF-TIME. That was a pulsating half - not necessarily the best quality in terms of total football, but plenty going on and a very noisy atmosphere plus an excellent goal for the visitors. More soon.
One minute to be added on here.
Prone players all round the place. The referee has stopped play, but it's unclear who the physios will treat first.
Back to the rounds of hefty challenges flying in as Fenerbahce look to hit back before the break.
GOAL! Well, wouldn't you know it? Babel strikes just before half-time. It's a long ball forward and he does well to control it, turn, hold off three men around him, then shoot from outside the box, curling his effort into the net. Nicely done.
CLOSE! Again from Ali, who hits the top of the crossbar this time!
This is BAD from Ayew. He's falling, admittedly, but he skies his shot, and...why are Fenerbache complaining? The defender didn't run across him until the ball was well and truly out of play.
CHANCE! Slimani gets his head to a free kick swung in from the left, but it's looping just high over the bar rather than a little bit lower and over Karius's head.
CLOSE! Tremendous effort from Hasan Ali, stinging the palms of Karius from range with a curling shot.
Most definitely end-to-end stuff, but how long can Besiktas hold out in this kind of atmosphere?
I think Fenerbahce were half-appealing for a penalty there, but the man who was down most definitely just slipped over.
CLOSE! Babel is the closest for his side so far as he strikes from distance and his effort takes a deflection for a corner.
Sensibly, Besiktas are trying to calm it down, passing the ball around the back line.
Slimani is working incredibly hard, winning the ball in midfield and creating the impetus to move forward.
Karius certainly the busier of the keepers at the moment, holding a header that was, to be fair, directed straight at him.
Square ball from Slimani, and Karius parries it out - there's nobody there to follow up.
Oguzhan is offside this time.
Really enjoying the referee's approach to running the game tonight, attempting to shush people.
Topai is now screaming for a free kick and clutching his ankle.
Slimani is checking Pepe is OK after another hefty collision. This is going to be a recurring theme of the evening.
Slimani has the first real chance, but Karius gathers that.
Hasan Ali is about as offside as it's possible to get, but still looks disgusted that it's been spotted.
Arslan takes a bump to the head after a firm challenge.
Fifteen seconds gone, Besiktas get possession as they play it back to Karius, and the whistling is deafening.
The Fenerbahce fans are bouncing in the stands, it's quite a sight.
Here we go!
Some fervent singing, and we're about ready to go.
Probably not a great surprise if I tell you it's a rowdy atmosphere in there.
