Lukas Nmecha sends England to final as Young Lions roar again

Second-half substitute Lukas Nmecha struck late to send England to the final of the U19 European Championships, courtesy of a 1-0 win over the Czech Republic.
The semi-final against the Czech Republic had looked destined for extra-time after Manchester City’s Nmecha had missed a gilt-edged chance late on.
However, as the game entered injury time, Marcus Edwards picked up the ball on the left, jinked past two men and fizzed a ball across the box.
The centre was slightly behind Nmecha, who pirouetted to backheel the ball past Martin Jedlicka in the Czech goal and send England through.
The result means that five England age groups from the Under 17-Under 21s have reached the semi-finals of a major tournament this year - with the Under 20s winning the World Cup.
England Under 19s will attempt to lift more silverware when they face Portugal in the final on Sunday.
