The Dutchman has so far come through two friendlies during Rovers' pre-season preparations without any adverse reaction to the break he suffered back in January.
And now he is eyeing a return for Sunday's Intertoto clash with the Lithuanian club.
"I don't feel any pain in my leg anymore, so that's the most important thing, " Ooijer told the Lancashire Telegraph. "I really hope I'm ready for the Intertoto.
"It's been frustrating because I felt I was just getting up to my normal level when I broke my leg.
"So that was hard and to sit on the side is not why I came to Blackburn.
"But the physios have worked hard with me and I'm thankful for that."
