"It wasn't intentional" - Antonio Rudiger sends apology to Benjamin Pavard

Antonio Rudiger has apologised to Benjamin Pavard after leaving stud marks on his neck during the UEFA Nations League clash between France and Germany.
Chelsea and Germany defender Rudiger left his mark on Pavard as he landed on the Frenchman's neck following a tackle in the 0-0 draw.
Rudiger apologised to Pavard via social media for the incident and insisted there was no malice in his actions.
Pavard to his credit did not place any blame on the German defender and insisted "it's just part of football".
Germany next take on Peru in a friendly as France welcome the Netherlands on Sunday in their next Nations League clash.
