The German side fail to deal with a right-wing corner and Alaba is left with a simple task of rolling Casemiro's nod back into a gaping net.

Benzema flicks a delightful pass around the corner for Vinicius Junior, who cuts inside from the left and sees a low drive tipped past the post by the keeper.

Frankfurt are already a couple of weeks ahead of Real and have played a match in the league and cup back in Germany. Real get their La Liga campaign underway at the weekend.
