Germany v Denmark called off after heavy rain

The UEFA Women's EURO match was called off after heavy rainfall prevented the game from taking place.

Match officials extended the possible kick-off time 8.55PM (GMT), but decided that the game would not go ahead.
During the warm-ups, it was clear that the ball would only bounce once or twice before stopping, dead, on the pitch.
The ball would barely move on the wings, and after consultation with the coaches, the match officials decided to call the game off.
The match will be played tomorrow.
