Oct 17 (Reuters) - West Ham United must not get carried away by their good start to England's Premier League season and can expect a stern test against a struggling Everton side on Saturday, manager Manuel Pellegrini said on Thursday.

The London club are eighth in the table, with 12 points from eight games, and sit above two of the Premier League's so-called big six - Tottenham Hotspur (ninth) and Manchester United (12th).
"I think we're where we deserve to be and we're clear in what we need to improve," Pellegrini told reporters.
"It's always a difficult team at Goodison Park. They have good players. We beat them 3-1 last season when we were in a similar moment to they are (in) now.
"But seasons are different and I'm sure we'll find an Everton with high pace, and it'll be a difficult game. It doesn't matter if they've been losing the last games."
Everton have dropped into the relegation zone, sitting 18th out of 20 with seven points from eight games. Pellegrini's side, by contrast, could temporarily climb to third place with a victory.
"We must not think about that but about the game we need to play. For now we must try to improve, to play better, to play offensive football and defend strongly too," said the Chilean, adding there were no new injuries to his squad following the international break.
"This style of football I'm very pleased (with) ... especially for the fans, we are selling them a good product. The players are happy, I'm happy." (Reporting by Arjun Panchadar in Bengaluru; Editing by Pravin Char)
