Chelsea 2-0 Real Madrid: Sophie Ingle, Erin Cuthbert score in Women's Champions League victory

Chelsea continued their impressive start to the Women’s Champions League with a 2-0 victory over Real Madrid. Emma Hayes' side have won all three of their Group A matches, scorng 11 goals and conceding none. Chelsea have won 10 games in a row in all competitions and are five points clear at the top of the group. Their next European fixture is at Real Madrid on December 8.

Chelsea made it three wins from three matches in the Women’s Champions League as they beat Real Madrid 2-0.
Sophie Ingle put Chelsea ahead in the 67th minute and Erin Cuthbert doubled the advantage 10 minutes later.
The result puts Chelsea in firm command of Group A, five points clear of both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
Chelsea’s next European game is at Real Madrid on December 8.
Chelsea have won 10 games in a row in all competitions but took time to get going against Real Madrid at Kingsmeadow.
The first half featured few clear chances and two injury scares for Chelsea as Sam Kerr and Guro Reiten went down.
However, both were fine to play on after the interval and Chelsea got the breakthrough when Cuthbert’s corner was flicked on by Millie Bright and nodded in from close range by Ingle.
Cuthbert made it 2-0 when she scored from an apparent cross from the right side of the box.
Chelsea saw out the game as they maintained their perfect record.
PSG won 5-0 against Albanian side Vllaznia in the other game in the group.
Chelsea play Leicester in the Women's Super League on December 3.
