Hello and welcome to our LIVE text commentary of Argentina's crucial World Cup qualifier against Bolivia in La Paz. Argentina are third in the 10-team South American group with 22 points from 13 games but have only a two-point cushion over sixth-placed Chile, with Colombia (21) and Ecuador (20) sandwiched in between. To put it mildly, tonight's encounter could be make or break. La Albiceleste haven't failed to qualify for a World Cup since 1970. And, in the run up to tonight's clash, Argentina's task has gotten a whole lot harder. I'm Pete Hall, and I will be bringing you the action, as it happens, live.

That's it! Quite the shock as Bolivia earn a comfortable win over a Lionel Messi-less Argentina. Without their suspended captain, La Albiceleste were lacklustre in the extreme in the altitude in La Paz, and got what they deserved. One goal in each half was enough for the men in Green as they stunned the superstars of Argentina, but they could not have had in much easier. Thanks for joining us. Full report to follow on site. Goodbye.

Pratto's effort sums up the visitors' evening as he attempts to acrobatically hook the ball towards goal, but simply flops to the floor, misses the ball and it runs out for a goal-kick.

Late change for Bolivia to waste some valuable seconds as Jhasmani Campos comes on for Wayar.

Caruzzo almost lets Moreno get in for his second of the match as he gets a clearance all wrong, but the ball just loops away from the lurking goalscorer.

What will most disappoint the travelling supporters is just how easy it has been for the home side.

Time is running out for Argentina. This could really be damaging in such a tight CONMEBOL qualification process.

All the possession for Argentina now. Di Maria is pulling wide to try and stretch the play, teaming up with Acuna.

CHANCE! Acuna whips a great-looking cross into the middle, Aguero is on the end of it, but he cannot get enough purchase on the volley, and the ball rolls out of play and away from danger.
76'
Banega tries to bulldozes his way in down the left, but again he is superbly shepherded out of play.

Marcelo Acuna is on to replace Perez for Argentina. That is their final throw of the dice.

SAVE! Great swivel and shot on the edge of the box from Caruzzo brings out the best in Lampe, who gets two strong hands to it to beat the ball away.

CLOSE! Di Maria fires the ball across the six-yard box, and Pratto is only inches away from getting on the end of it as it fizzed across.

COULD BE THREE! Moreno could and maybe should have made it three, but his first effort is blocked, and he cannot react quickly enough as the ball ricochets back to him, and Romero can gather. Great work from Escobar to pull the ball back.
65'
Escobar whips another free-kick into the middle, but Romero is out to gather,
63'
Aguero tries to swivel and get into a shooting position, but he cannot get away from two markers.

SAVE! Pratto, who has looked anything but a capable deputy for Aguero, makes space for the shot, but it would take something very special from such a tight angle to beat Lampe.
