FT: Albania 0-2 England. Job done for England. That was not easy, with Albania defending in numbers and the pitch holding the ball up, but the visitors were clinical when presented with openings to make it two wins from two in World Cup qualification Group I. Poland up next in Wednesday. Thanks for joining us. Goodbye.

Late change for the home side as Ramadani is on for Laci.
Dropped points have never looked likely, but England have really had to dig in here. Impressive.
Nice spell of possession for Albania, who still have hope, however slim, of getting something from this game.

Sterling tries to give Djimsiti the slip after bringing the ball down in the Albania area, but the centre-back recovers just in time at the expense of a corner.
Walkers gets to the byline, drills a fierce low cross in, but it is cleared.
POST! Better from England. Sterling does well to wait for the right pass, picks out Manchester City team-mate Foden, who shoots for goal, but Albania goalkeeper Etrit Berisha gets down really well to tip the low strike onto the post and the ball rolls away from danger.
England back in control of the ball.
England under a little bit of pressure here as Kyle Walker does well to clear.
Similar pace to this half. Another goal will kill this for England.
- 2nd Half
We are back under way here. No changes for either side.
- End of 1st Half
HT: Albania 0-1 England. Not the greatest game, but the pitch hasn't helped matters. Kane's first international goal since November 2019 separates the sides at the break.
It now should be a matter of how many England can get, with Albania forced to commit more forward.
It really has.
That really was out of the blue, and provided further evidence of Shaw's resurgence. Really was a superb delivery.
Superb cross from Luke Shaw on his return to the side, Kane gets across his man and heads home. That is his first England goal for 500 days! Just what England needed.
- GoalHarry KaneEngland
GOOOOOOOAAAALLLL!!! Albania 0-1 England. That is more like it! Kane gives England the lead.
England give the ball away cheaply down the right flank. The hosts try to release Broja down the right channel but there's too much on the pass and England usher it out for a goal kick.
He is dropping far too deep, into congested areas.
Rice tries to carry the attack forward but it gets stuck under his feet.
SHOT AT GOAL! Walker tries his luck from distance, but it is straight at the goalkeeper.
Walker whips another cross into the middle, but again it is cleared.
Mount gets to the byline, tries to pull it across for Sterling, but Albania clear.
I mean the pitch is really, really bad, but this is poor from England so far.
Albania pushing England higher up the pitch now, forcing Nick Pope into a poor clearance.
Kane fires into the wall, and the referee awards Albania a free-kick for some pushing.
- Yellow cardKeidi BareAlbania
Mount gets clattered from all angles, with Keidi Bare booked for the hosts. Free-kick right on the edge of the box for England.
England need to get the ball from front to back quicker.
Mount and Foden look to combine down the right, but the move breaks down.
England trying to up the tempo now. But the pitch is slowing them every time.
CHANCE! Big chance for the hosts! England give the ball away cheaply, Albania break, they have two on one, Myrto Uzuni is played in, but he blazes over. His big moment!
Foden whips the corner into the middle, John Stones arrives to meet it, but cannot find the target.
Little better from England as Phil Foden whips a cross into the middle but it is headed behind for a corner.
Very slow pace to this, with the home side sitting very deep indeed.
Luke Shaw looking to attack down the left, but is held up.
Early possession for England here. The ball is moving very slowly across the surface.
Pitch does not look up to much, has to be said Already starting to cut up.
- 1st Half
KICK OFF! We are up and running here.
Fun on the road for England. The Three Lions have lost just two of their last 29 away matches in World Cup qualifying campaigns (W19 D8), losing to Northern Ireland in September 2005 and Ukraine in October 2009. They are firm favourites to better that record this evening. We are minutes away!
Will we see more protests from England tonight?
Hope for the hosts? Albania have won their last four international matches, their best run since August 2010. They have never won five consecutive matches in their entire international football history.
HEAD TO HEAD: England have won all four of their previous matches against Albania, with all games coming in World Cup qualifiers for the 1990 and 2002 editions. On the day of this game, it will be exactly 20 years since England last played away at Albania, winning 3-1 in Tirana in March 2001 with goals from Michael Owen, Paul Scholes and Andrew Cole.
So much talent makes this a difficult discussion.
A message that goes beyond football from the England coach.
SHAW BACK, KANE REPLACES DCL: Six changes in all from the rout of San Marino, with Luke Shaw back in an England shirt for the first time since September 2018. Declan Rice and Phil Foden replace James Ward-Prowse and Jesse Lingard in the midfield, while Harry Kane comes in for Dominic Calvert-Lewin to lead the England attack. Harry Maguire and Kyle Walker also return to join Shaw in the England four-man defence alongside John Stones, who, along with goalkeeper Nick Pope, retains his place in the starting line-up.
