Good evening and welcome to live coverage of England’s game in San Marino. I’ll bring you build-up ahead of full text commentary from kick-off at 19:45 GMT.

The final whistle goes to put San Marino out of their misery as England qualify for the World Cup by sealing top spot in Group I with a 10-goal hammering of one of European football’s minnows. That’s the first time England have scored ten goals in a competitive international.

It’s been a very strange night in San Marino, but credit to England for keeping their shape and intent so well against opponents so below the level they are used to.

No Goal. Abraham heads home from Gallagher’s cross but the defender falls over and the ref blows for a foul. That’s generous.

It was interesting in the first-half to see Alexander-Arnold roaming around midfield from his wing-back position, and definitely an experiment worth trying. But against this opposition it has been almost unfair to put the Liverpool full-back out on the right flank to bend in cross after cross to rack up the score.

GOOOAAALLLL!!! It’s double figures. Another wonderful cross from Alexander-Arnold puts it on a plate for Saka to head home. 10-0.

GOOOAAALLLL!!! Another beautiful ball in from Alexander-Arnold is controlled on the knee by Tammy Abraham, who twists and finds the far corner with his second touch. 9-0.

Stones replaces Smith Rowe, who has been lively if not unspectacular on his first England start.

No Goal! A poor clearance is picked up by Bellingham and he drills a hard, low shot through the keeper. A player was down and San Marino are upset, but I don’t think Bellingham saw him. Replays suggest it was a foul in the build-up and the goal is ruled out, with Abraham booked.

Gallagher twists in the box and hits the post!

GOOOAAALLL!!! Tyrone Mings scores his first England goal, doing really well to guide an Alexander-Arnold free-kick into the far corner. 8-0.

RED CARD! It gets worse for San Marino. Gallagher leaves Rossi trailing in his wake and the midfielder catches his ankle on the edge of the box to pick up a clear second booking.

Glimmer of a chance for San Marino on the break as they catch England with almost nobody back, but Mings’ recovery pace denies the hosts an attempt on goal.

So close to a first England goal for Gallagher as his run is picked out by Chilwell only for his volley to fly straight into the arms of the keeper.

It’s a change for England as Harry Kane’s four-goal evening comes to an end. He’s replaced by Reece James and embraces his manager with a big smile on his face in the dugout.

GOOOAALLL!!! It’s a first England goal for Emile Smith Rowe as Saka finds Abraham in the box, who flicks the ball into the run of the Arsenal wide man to slot home. 7-0.

Kane drives forward and plays a clever through-ball to put Abraham in on goal, but his dink over the keeper has too much on it and the ball sails over the bar.

The changes for England have seen a bit of a switch for Saka, who is now floating in from wide right as part of what is essentially a very attacking 4-4-2. The defensive change means a bit more structure for Alexander-Arnold too, who is now very much at right-back rather than the roaming creative role he fulfilled for much of the first-half.

Bellingham lays it back for Smith Rowe who goes for a cheeky dinked shot that wasn’t really the right call in the circumstances and the keeper collects.

It’s been all England again since the break and the most noteworthy thing is that the pace is still reasonably high, which reflects well on Southgate’s side. It would be very tempting just to roll this one through, but they’re playing nice football still.
