Salah shows his pace to run onto a long ball, he is tackled and it falls to Kahraba who decides to pass it back to Salah who cannot get a shot away. Sobhi was in a much better position.

Otayf is tripped by Fathy around 25 yards out and wins a free-kick. Alburayk's effort is straight at the wall though.
WARDA GOES CLOSE! Salah jinks into the box, he is tackled. It falls to Warda whose effort is blocked for a corner. Warda's low corner is poor though and Saudi clear.
If it stays like this, Egypt will avoid the wooden spoon on goal difference.
CHANCE! Saudi have a free-kick around 35 yards out in a central position after Salem is tripped. Salman steps up and his effort goes over the bar.
Elneny tries his luck from around 30 yards and the Arsenal man's shot goes into the upper stands. Egypt have had just one shot on target - Salah's goal.
GOOD SAVE! Al Faraj's cross is headed towards goal by Hussain and the keeper tips it over the bar. From the corner, Hamed loses his man and Assiri's header is parried by the veteran keeper.
Gabr has gone down after being caught with a late challenge, he looks to be okay to continue.

Gabr is forced to step in and put the ball behind for a Saudi corner. The delivery is played short and is eventually crossed but its over-hit again.

Salah is tackled on the edge of the box and is a little slow to get to his feet, he does not look 100% fit following that shoulder injury in the Champions League final.
CLOSE! Treziguet with a header after leaping like a salmon 12 yards out which goes inches wide.
Egypt have a corner near the right corner flag. Salah steps up but its a poor low flighted delivery which is cleared at the near post.
CHANCE! Hegazy's outstretched clearance in front of his keeper falls to Hatan whose volley fizzes over from close range.
Egypt have petered out as an attacking threat since that Salah missed chance in the first half, its been all Saudi since.
Saudi have a corner from the left. Salman's delivery is headed on at the back post, Motaz goes down and wants a penalty but the referee waves play on.
Fahad unleashes a low drive which is deflected which takes the sting out of the shot.
There was seven added minutes in that controversial first half after two soft penalties were awarded.

KICK OFF: Saudi Arabia get the second period underway.

HALF TIME: It is 1-1. Salah gave Egypt the lead, Saudi missed a penalty but scored a second spot kick in stoppage time courtesy of Salman Al-Faraj after a VAR review.

GOAL FOR SAUDI ARABIA! Salman calmly strokes the ball into the left corner and sends the keeper the wrong way to make it 1-1.

The ref has been asked to have a look at the review himself. He jogs off the pitch to look at the VAR monitor.

Elsaid has gone down with a knock and needs attention.
El Hadary is okay to continue after an angry exhange of words with the referee over the time taken to treat his injury.
From the resulting corner, El Hadary makes a mess of the cross and a shot from Fahad is blocked. The keeper has gone down and needs treatment, he appeared to injure himself from that penalty save.
PENALTY SAVED! Fahad's fierce effort is brilliantly palmed onto the woodwork, great stop from the 45-year-old!
PENALTY TO SAUDI! Fateh is penalised for blocking a cross with his arm which was not up in the air, that was a bit harsh.
Salah is inches away from running onto a long ball, this time Motaz does well to mark him.
CLOSE! Saudi have been a shambles at the back. At the other end, Salman's shot is brilliantly blocked by Hegazi in the six yard box.
CHANCE! Treziguet has the ball again on the left flank, Salah wants a pass but he opts to shoot and curls it well wide.
CLOSE! Treziguet trades passes with Salah before curling in a half volley which flies over from just inside the area. The pass from Salah was sublime.
Fateh heads the ball behind for a corner after the keeper went walkabout. Salman's delivery comes to nothing though which leads to Pizzi giving a water bottle a kick.
Full-back Al-Shahrani gets forward and tries an ambitious effort from the edge of the box which is well over.
Mohsen is tripped and Egypt have a freekick 35 yards out. Elsaid's delivery is easily cleared.
Pizzi is prowling the touchline in his suit and green tie, its been a frustrating campaign for his side.
In the other game in Group A, Uruguay are 2-0 up against Russia.
SALAH PUTS IT WIDE! Egypt break, Treziguet threads it through to Salah who tries a cheeky dink which goes wide.
Lovely goal from the Liverpool forward after Saudi gave the ball away near the halfline. It was a very muted celebration though which will trigger the rumour mill again over his future..

Salah gets a cheer after playing the ball past Motaz but the Saudi defender wins the race to clear the ball back to the keeper.
Egypt are lining up very conservatively with Elneny and Hamed protecting the defence and not offering anything going forward.
GOOD EFFORT! Salem picks up the ball near the halfway line, he beats three playes before uleashing a drive which goes narrowly over.
Fahad has gone off to have a chance of boots on the touchline, his team-mates are not impressed. Hussain gives him a peace of his mind.
In the other game in Group A, A Luis Suarez free-kick has given Uruguay a 1-0 lead over Russia.
Good ball from Abdelshafy to the left flank, Treziguet cuts it back but there is no-one there to connect. Where was Salah?
Egypt have a chance to break but Treziguet's pass to Mohsen is cut out, he should have done better there.
Saudi have a corner after Hegazy blocks a cross. After the ref gives a stern lecture about pushing in the box, Fahad's delivery is headed away by Hegazy.
Saudi passing the ball until the final third where the decision making has cost them in this tournament. Otayf with the latest overhit pass after a sweeping move.
CHANCE! Hussain bursts forward around 20 yards and goes for a low drive from the edge of the box which is well wide.

This is the first encounter between Saudi Arabia and Egypt at a tournament since the 1999 Confederations Cup when the Saudis won 5-1 thanks after four goals from Marzouk Al-Otaibi and Egypt receiving three red cards.
Egypt earlier apologised for an incorrect team sheet where Salah was omitted from the line-up. The original team sheet included Amr Warda instead of Salah but it was human error apparently..
Keeper El Hadary will break the record set by Colombia goalkeeper Faryd Mondragon, who was aged 43 years and three days when he played against Japan in the 2014 World Cup.
Saudi Arabia boss Juan Antonio Pizzi: on his side's disappointing campaign which has seen them ship five against Russia and lose 1-0 to Uruguay: "It's very easy with hindsight, after the results that we have had, to come up with situations that you'd like to change.
"But unfortunately we coaches have to take most of our decisions before things pan out.
"We've seen that certain concepts work, we've seen alternatives, we've tried to bring in new players as well, and this experience that we have had specifically in the run-up to this World Cup has been very important."
Egypt are looking to win a World Cup match for the first time in their history. The North African side will finish above the Saudis if they draw because of their goal difference.
Saudi Arabia, who are yet to score in the tournament, are searching for their first World Cup finals victory since Saeed Al-Owairan's wonder strike against Belgium in 1994.
Salah starts and the Egyptian FA have denied reports the Liverpool star is on the verge of retiring from international football over criticism he received for being pictured with Kremlin-backed leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov.
Saudi, who also cannot qualify for the next round, are without the injured Taiseer Al Jassam, Omar Hawsawi and Mansour Al-Harbi.
