WATCH: Ivan Perisic's incredible strike in the World Cup final

Ivan Perisic started the World Cup in fantastic form and he was the man who brought Croatia level having fallen behind.

France took the early lead when Mario Mandzukic flicked Antoine Griezmann's free-kick into his own net but Perisic had other ideas.
He was the driving force for Croatia in the opening stages and he scored a fabulous equaliser.
He took a loose ball down, jinked past N'Golo Kante and then fired a wonderful shot past Hugo Lloris with his left foot.
Sadly for Perisic he was then the victim of a very harsh VAR decision that saw France re-take the lead via Antoine Griezmann's penalty.
