Motor racing-Hamilton takes pole at Australian Grand Prix

MELBOURNE, March 16 (Reuters) - Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton took pole for Mercedes at the season-opening Australian Grand Prix on Saturday.

His team mate Valtteri Bottas will be second on the grid for Sunday's race, with Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel third.
