Jia Zongyang wins in Secret Garden for first World Cup triumph since 2013

Jia Zongyang won his first aerials World Cup title in almost five years with victory on home snow in Secret Garden.
Not since January 2013 in Lake Placid had the Chinese freestyle skier stood atop a World Cup podium, winning Olympic bronze in Sochi little over a year later.
But Jia was emphatic in victory on the slopes of his home nation, scoring 127.88 to take home maximum points in the first aerials World Cup of the season.
Maxim Gustik of Belarus took the silver medal with a score of 117.26, with Canadian skier Lewis Irving completing the podium line-up on 103.68.
In the women's competition, it was a maiden World Cup victory for Hanna Huskova as she edged top spot in China.
The Belarusian scored 74.82 points to secure the gold medal, ahead of home skier Xu Mengtao on 71.55 and American Ashley Caldwell on 68.04.
