Mikael Kingsbury's run of 13 straight moguls World Cup wins was finally ended as Japan's Ikuma Horishima snatched victory in Canada.
Kingsbury had to settle for second on home snow with a score of 93.27 as the Japanese skier claimed the 100 World Cup points thanks to his 93.88 points.
Dmitriy Reikherd completed the podium with a score of 88.44 over the moguls in Tremblant with South Korea's Choi Jae Woo fourth and Anthony Benna of France fifth.
Kingsbury remains well clear in the overall standings, despite his first defeat in more than 350 days, on 680 points with Reikherd of Kazakhstan on 420 in second.
Australia's Matt Graham is third on 304 after finishing 11th in Canada.
On the women's side, it was a Canadian one-two as Justine Dufour-Lapointe (87.43) took the top step of the podium ahead of Andi Naude (85.35).
Yulia Galysheva was third on 84.61 points ahead of Tess Johnson of America in fourth and another Canadian in Audrey Robichaud in fifth.
Jaelin Kauf remains top of the overall standings, despite her 15th-placed finish in Tremblant, with 436 points ahead of Naude (385) and Perrine Laffont (382).
