Great Britain’s Rowan Cheshire qualified for the ladies’ ski halfpipe final as team-mate Molly Summerhayes missed out.

Cheshire’s first-run score of 74.00 saw her finish ninth overall, with the top 12 riders making it through to tomorrow’s showdown for gold.

Cheshire, who was forced to withdraw from Sochi 2014 after being knocked unconscious in training, gets under way in the final at 1.30am GMT on Tuesday.
Each rider will have three runs to post their highest possible score in the final, with Cassie Sharpe the athlete to beat after the Canadian posted 93.40 in qualification.
