Four Olympians who represented Team GB have been named in the Great Britain handball team to play Belgium in two friendly matches later this month.
Holly Lam-Moores, Zoe Van Der Weel, Kathryn Fudge and Nina Heglund are all named in the squad for the matches on March 18 and 19 in Antwerp.
The games follows the visit by Belgium to Edinburgh in November last year, when the visitors won both encounters.
Head coach Thomas Brond has also selected a number of young players as the team looks to build for the future.
He said: "These matches are about building experience for this young squad.
"The Belgians will push us hard, but we know that we can challenge them. We only lost one of our recent home games 31-35 against them so there are plenty of positives to build on."
