Sharabutdin Magomedov boasted a 15-0 unbeaten record in the UFC after making his debut in 2017, but the feared fighter was handed an upset defeat by British veteran Michael 'Venom' Page in Saudi Arabia. The 37-year-old won the fight by decision, and despite his success after moving up to the middleweight division, said he planned to do "more work" at welterweight.

Michael 'Venom' Page declared himself "the captain" and warned his rivals to "watch out" after ending Sharabutdin Magomedov’s unbeaten record in MMA.
Page had moved up to middleweight for the contest in Saudi Arabia for UFC Fight Night, with the country providing a chance for Magomedov to fight, given his eye injury prevented him from fighting in the US.
Page is an established name at welterweight, having only fought at middleweight once before in 2013.
The 30-year-old Magomedov boasted an unblemished record for the franchise since his debut in 2017, and with his fearsome reputation, many saw him as the favourite against his veteran British rival.
However, the fight went the distance, and the scorecards gave the 37-year-old Page the nod.
Speaking in the cage after his win, Page paid tribute to the fans, before celebrating his victory.
He said: "Big up Saudi Arabia, thank you for having me here. You guys are extremely welcoming, and I hope you would love to have me come back.
"Everybody, looking at me, look at me: I am the captain now."
He added: "I wanted to mix it up. Again, Sharabullet is an amazing MMA fighter. Regardless of this result, he’s going to go on and do some amazing things. Big shout out and applause for Sharabullet, please."
Page then said he felt he had more work to do to settle in at a higher weight, and appeared keen to return to his previous division.
He concluded: "I knew coming up that my body’s not going to be used to this, just yet. I felt it a little bit in this fight. I need to practise a bit more at this weight.
"For now, I’ve got more work to do at 170. So, guys, watch out, I’m coming."
