UFC London: Leon Edwards to fight Jack Della Maddalena in main event of UFC Fight Night 255 at O2 Arena

Leon Edwards will hope to bounce back from losing the UFC welterweight championship at the first time of asking, when he faces Australia's Jack Della Maddalena in the main event of UFC London. The clash will take place at O2 Arena, with former light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz set to take on Carlos Ulberg in the evening's co-main, live on TNT Sports and discovery+.

Former UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards will fight Australia's Jack Della Maddalena in the main event of UFC Fight Night 255 at the O2 Arena.
The five-round contest, live on TNT Sports and discovery+ on March 22, will be Edwards' first since he lost his title to Belal Muhammad at UFC 304 in July 2024.
The Birmingham star lost that bout in Manchester, while he has previously enjoyed a career highlight in London, beating Kamaru Usman for the second time.
He will be hoping to bounce back from the title loss against Maddalena, who is currently fourth in the UFC's welterweight rankings.
The Aussie heads into the clash with a record of 17-2-0, having beaten Gilbert Burns via KO in his last outing.
Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz will be involved in the co-main event.
The Polish star is set to face Carlos Ulberg, who is currently sixth in the weight division's rankings.
Blachowicz has had mixed fortunes since losing the UFC light heavyweight championship to Glover Teixeira 2021.
He defeated Aleksandar Rakic but drew with Magomed Ankalaev before losing to Alex Pereira via split decision.
Further down the card, Liverpool's Molly McCann will hope to get back to winning ways when she fights Istela Nunes.
McCann fell to defeat in her last fight against Bruna Brasil at UFC 304, having dropped down to strawweight from flyweight.
Hometown hero Nathaniel Wood will go toe-to-toe with France's Morgan Charriere and Jai Herbert will collide with Chris Padilla.
