Pedrosa had a violent crash in the Aragon race last month after minor contact with his Honda team-mate Marc Marquez cut a cable in the former's traction control system.
When Pedrosa accelerated moments later, expecting the electronic aid to kick in, he instead had a massive accident.
Although he escaped serious injury, Pedrosa admitted that he has been in a lot of pain since the last race.
"Physically it's been a hard week, I couldn't walk for three days due to the pain in my hip, but it's getting better every day so I'm hoping to be in perfect condition for the weekend," he said.

MotoGP race direction has scheduled a hearing about the Pedrosa/Marquez incident for the Thursday of the Japanese Grand Prix later this week.
World champion Jorge Lorenzo told the Italian media after Aragon that the clash was an example of how Marquez "puts himself and others at risk", while Pedrosa suggested that officials had been "taking things too lightly".
Marquez said he is open-minded about what the hearing will bring.
"There is not much we can do, we need to wait and see what they say," he said.
