The Italian was pipped to the line by compatriot Alex Campani in a photo finish 24 hours earlier but Anselmi hit back to claim victory in the second race of the weekend at the famous Austrian track.
Campani had to settle for third, while Swede Niklas Lilja split the Italian pair to retain his overall championship lead.
Emanuele Moncini took fourth place and the victory in the Gentleman category.
Among the Abarth 500 Assetto Corses young Finn Jusso Pajuranta won his second race of the weekend while Italians Franco Cimarelli and Manuel Villa finished second and third.
The race began with Lilja starting well, overtaking polesitter Anselmi before the Italian responded to reclaim the lead just a lap later.
The fight for third place was intense, involving Moncini, Campani, Jonathon Giacon and Robin Appelqvist. On the fourth lap Campani made a mistake at the first chicane and was overtaken by Giacon and Manuel Buffoli. On the lap eight Giacon went off the track and Buffoli passed Moncini, but then he went into a spin, losing several positions.
The next round of the Trofeo Abarth Selenia Europe will be in Belgium at the Spa-Francorchamps track on June 21 and 22.
