Rugby star Danny Cipriani is training with MK Dons - but only to vary his fitness programme before moving to Australia, according to the League One side's manager.
After becoming disillusioned with life in England, former Wasps fly-half Cipriani is contracted to move to Melbourne Rebels next month.
Spells training with Queens Park Rangers and Colorado Rapids led to media speculation that the former QPR youth footballer was considering turning his back on rugby.
But Cipriani insisted that he was merely finding ways to maintain his fitness in the Super Rugby off-season as he saw no point in training with an English rugby club.
MK Dons boss Karl Robinson confirmed that the England international is training with his side, but that there is no talk of him switching sports.
Robinson told the club website: "I met Danny some time ago through a mutual friend and he's been working on his fitness with us this week.
"It has been a great opportunity for our players to compare training methods with a world-class athlete and for Danny to vary his own training programme.
"It has been well documented that Danny was a talented footballer when he was younger and he has certainly held his own.
"His enthusiasm has been terrific."
