Coach Eddie O'Sullivan (pictured), who named his team in Bordeaux, picked Jerry Flannery at hooker as expected in place of the injured Rory Best.
Eoin Reddan takes over at scrumhalf from Peter Stringer who played in Ireland's first two matches, a disappointing 32-17 win over Namibia and a fortunate 14-10 victory against Georgia.
Andrew Trimble, who played on the right wing against Namibia, was unavailable for the Georgia game because of a finger injury but comes back into the side on the left in place of Denis Hickie, who suffered a bruised knee against Georgia. Shane Horgan keeps his place on the right wing.
Best, who scored Ireland's first try against Georgia in Bordeaux, is out for the rest of the pool stage after injuring his right thumb. He also misses the match against Argentina at the Parc des Princes on September 30.
