The Korean stopped the clock at one minute and 7.19 seconds on his second run to finish 0.87 seconds ahead of World Championship silver medallist Axel Jungk.
Second is the best result of the season so far for the German with defending World Cup holder Martins Dukurs, of Latvia, completing the podium.
The 23-year-old Yun has now won an incredible five of the seven World Cup races coming second in the other two in Lake Placid and Innsbruck.
Germany's Alexander Gassner came fourth, 1.15 seconds off the pace, with Great Britain's Dom Parsons tied in fifth with Russian Alexander Tretiakov.
Fifth is Parsons best result in a World Cup race since his fourth-place finish in Koenigssee back in January 2015 while fellow Brit Jeremy Rice was 12th in his best ever World Cup result.
The season finale takes place in Koenigssee, Germany, next weekend with Yun top of the rankings on 1,545 points ahead of defending champion Dukurs on 1,430.
Jungk is third in the overall standings on 1,282 meaning only Dukurs can now earn enough points to deny Yun a much-deserved title ahead of the Winter Olympic Games.
