Yun Sungbin secured his third skeleton World Cup title on the trot as heavy snow saw the second run cancelled in Winterberg.
The race was reverted to a one-run event after dismal weather conditions delayed the start of the second run in Germany, with organisers eventually deciding to cancel.
Korean Yun therefore topped the podium with his effort of 56.62 seconds, a third gold medal in succession after wins in Whistler and Park City.
The 23-year-old is yet to miss out on a medal finish this term having finished second in the season opener in Lake Placid, with his last non-podium placing coming in Winterberg back in January.
Latvia’s Martins Dukurs sealed the silver medal with his time of 56.68 seconds – six hundredths of a second back – while Canada’s Dave Greszczyszyn completed the podium line-up with bronze, his first World Cup medal.
