She was admitted to the hospital two weeks ago due to a life-threatening cardiac issue. In an interview with the television channel TVN, Kubacki explained.
He said: "the situation was very serious, that's all I can say. Marta is not doing well, but her condition is improving."

Kubacki: Granerud deserved Four Hills victory

Continuing, Kubacki said: "She is in good hands" and said his wife's condition had made "quick progress," but underlined that ultimate recovery will take weeks rather than days.
He added: "We have a long rehabilitation path ahead of us until she is fully healthy, and we have the assurance that everything is fine."
During the interview, Kubacki also talked about the special gesture made by Anze Lanisek.
At the season finale in Planica, the Slovenian ski jumper took a cardboard figure of Kubacki with him onto the podium.
The Slovenian had overtaken Kubacki due to the Pole's absence from the final events of the season to finish third overall.
Kubacki said: "I was surprised, I did not expect something like that. I saw it with my wife, and we cried together. It really choked me up."
Halvor Egner Granerud had already clinched the overall title before Kubacki's wife was hospitalised, and Austrian Stefan Kraft finished second while Kubacki ended up fourth.
Kubacki had been enjoying an excellent season before pulling out, winning nine events in the longest ski jumping World Cup campaign in history.
