Stefan Kraft made it back-to-back Ski Jumping World Cup triumphs after two fine leaps on the Japanese hills saw him claim a superb victory.
Austrian Kraft clocked 270.1 points from his two jumps in Sapporo in a fiercely talented field, with triple Olympic champion Kamil Stoch having to settle for silver after posting 260.3.
Norway's Robert Johansson's effort of 256.7 was good enough for third, with Czech skier Roman Koudelka missing out on a place on the podium.
Runaway series leader Ryoyu Kobayashi could only manage fifth on home slopes, but is 469 points clear of nearest challenger Stoch in the overall standings.
