World Champion Lundby, 24, struggled in the opening jump and was fourth going into the second attempt.
Germany’s Katharina Althaus and the Austrian duo of Eva Pinkelnig and Daniela Iraschko-Stolz were all ahead of her.
However whilst her rivals really fell off during the second jump Lundby rose to a whole new level.
The Norwegian took off and flew even further, mastering the conditions to take a deserved victory.
She cements her position at the top of the World Cup standings and now leads Raw Air by 19.1 points ahead of Althaus going into Trondheim.
