Domen Prevc edged out Ryoyu Kobayashi to claim his first Ski Jumping World Cup success of the season on the flying hill in Vikersund.
The Slovenian teenager finished with 454.7 points, 0.1 clear of overall World Cup champion Kobayashi of Japan.
That was thanks to a brilliant first jump, where he leapt 241 metres to open up an 11-point lead over the field.
Kobayashi managed 239 metres in the second jump, falling just short in his effort to overhaul Prevc.
Meanwhile Stefan Kraft of Austria finished in third to stay second in the overall World Cup standings.
Kobayashi now leads the way in the Ski Flying standings, moving ahead of German Markus Eisenbichler who was fifth.
Prevc now sits eighth in the Ski Flying after his first World Cup win since December 2016.
