Stevens moves on

Matthew Stevens booked his place in the third round of the UK Championship with a 9-5 victory in York on Wednesday night.
The 2003 champion was always in control of his match, but the highlight came from Gray as he produced a 146 when 6-2 down.
For world champion Peter Ebdon also progressed into round three as he defeated Mark Selby 9-6.
Joe Perry is another already it into the last 16 as he enjoyed a 9-4 success over Barry Hawkins, while Stuart Bingham edged out Ali Carter 9-8 in a thriller.
In the afternoon session five second-round games got underway and amazingly all five of them are locked on 4-4 scorelines.
Former winners, Mark Williams, Ronnie O'Sullivan, and Steve Davis, were amongst those in action.
Williams is tied with Gerard Greene, O'Sullivan is deadlocked with Ricky Walden, and Davis is level with James Burnett.
The other games that will resume on 4-4 are Stephen Lee's game with Rod Lawler and Stephen Maguire's clash with Joe Swail.
There was also one first round match completed as Scott Mackenzie thrashed Michael Holt 9-0.
