The 30-year-old world number 24 beat Mark Selby 6-2 in the climax of the 58-man qualifying tournament in Sheffield to claim the 19th and final place in the prestigious Invitational event at the Wembley Arena.
Selby took the opening frame with a break of 106 but then Bingham reeled off the next five in a row with runs of 90, 74, 72, 39 and 62.
Selby pulled one back with a 127 but the Essex player sealed victory in the next.
Bingham said: "It was a fantastic experience to play at Wembley last year, there's so much history to the event. I'm delighted to be going back."
He will now face world number 15 Ali Carter in the first round in London with Anthony Hamilton, ranked 16, against provisional number four Ding Junhui and world number 14 Matthew Stevens and fans favourite Jimmy White also in opening round action.
The top 13 in the world have received a bye into the second round.
