Ali Carter, Matthew Stevens, Ding Junhui, all booked their places in the main draw of the Masters Tournament as they won their wild card matches at the Wembley Arena on Sunday.
Carter was involved in a titanic match with Stuart Bingham but eventually wrapped up a 6-5 victory.
A break of 81 in the final frame helped him secure the win, after a game that last over three-and-a-half hours.
Meanwhile, Matthew Stevens won his first match at Wembley for seven years as he disposed of crowd favourite Jimmy White 6-1.
White won the opening frame with a 42 break but from then on in, it was all Stevens, as he reeled off quick six frames, with breaks of 70, 105, 40 and 59 showing that he is in good form.
The result was another blow for White who is now out of the Top 32 and who has failed to qualify for any ranking tournaments this year.
However, the big story off the day was Ding Junhui, who became the youngest ever play to pot a maximum 147 on live television. Read more by clicking the link below.
