The Rocket produced runs of 84 and 59 in a dominant display over 2019 Scottish Open winner Allen, who struggled throughout, scoring just 89 points over the course of two sessions in Preston.
"The table was the hardest I have ever played on in my life," the five-time world champion said after the match.
"I'm hitting it out of my skin and it's not going where I want it to. I was comfortable because I knew he was uncomfortable and I knew with my extra cue power I would be OK.
I'm over the moon with that performance.
The defending champion will face Robertson, who won five of the last six frames on offer to beat Judd Trump on Friday night.
Trump, winner of the Masters back in January, raced into a two-frame lead courtesy of breaks of 62 and 100 but 15-time ranking title winner Robertson produced runs of 71, 140, 54, 68 and 59 to win 6-4.
World number three O'Sullivan, who moved on to 997 career centuries as he beat John Higgins on Friday, leads the head-to-head between the pair by 14 wins to five ahead of their best-of-19 encounter on Sunday.
