Things could get awkward when Ronnie O’Sullivan and Neil Robertson team up in the Eurosport studio

Both Ronnie O’Sullivan and Neil Robertson will join the Eurosport crew during the London Masters, the second event in snooker’s Triple Crown, which gets underway at Alexandra Palace on Sunday 14 January.

The 2012 champion Neil Robertson will be part of the presentation team throughout the tournament, but things could get awkward when Ronnie provides analysis on the opening day.

O’Sullivan didn’t seem to give much of a thought to his soon-to-be-colleague when answering a question on twitter earlier this week.

A fan asked the Rocket:

Who winds you up to play or watch the most?

And O’Sullivan replied:

All of em, apart from John Higgins and Selby the rest are clueless.

Thankfully O’Sullivan was only joking and the pair are both looking forward to teaming up with Jimmy White, Neal Founds and Colin Murray in the studio.

This will be Robertson’s longest spell in the studio and he told Eurosport that he’s looking forward to getting started.

“I can’t wait, I’ve always wanted to do it," Robertson said. "It’s unfortunate that I’m not in the tournament but it’s a great opportunity for me to give a bit of feedback! It’s going to be a great experience and I’m excited to be involved in some way.”

The Australian also joined Eurosport's Desmond Kane in a Facebook Live at the Scottish Open in December, where he denied suggestions that a move to the TV studio was a "step down" before talking fans through some key shots.
