Jimmy White believes Jack Lisowski returned to his former self after he was thrashed 6-0 by Mark Williams in the semi-finals of The Masters.
Lisowski has improved over the last 12 months since working with former world champion Peter Ebdon and won his first match at the Alexandra Palace earlier this week by beating John Higgins.
However, he was comfortably put away by Williams on Saturday and denied a place in his first Triple Crown final.
“He played some really poor shots,” White said in the Eurosport studio when Lisowski went 4-0 down. “Maybe it was the pressure but I thought that had all gone.
“He needs to learn from this because he’s gone back to the old Jack Lisowski, making it difficult for himself and putting himself under pressure instead of being focused.
“He lost his focus since the Higgins match and doesn’t look like the same player.”

'Nightmare' for Lisowski as Williams sweeps into 4-0 lead
After the match, White added: “Mark knew Jack was under pressure, so took control from the start. Jack should have made it 1-1.
"A couple of bad shot choices, inexperience because it was the biggest match of his life. He didn’t step up to the plate.
“I’m disappointed for him. He’s got to go back and reflect. His focus against John Higgins was superb.
“He played Hossein Vafaei, who is his friend, lost a bit of focus, then plays Williams and got slaughtered. I like Jack, I want him to win, he's a great player but he didn’t apply himself right.”
Lisowski pointed out that the table had been refitted for the semi-finals and that fortune was not in his side on Saturday.
He wasn’t too disappointed, though, as there are more tournaments to come over the next six weeks.
“I couldn’t really settle, couldn’t get anything going,” Lisowski told Eurosport. “The table get redone and I couldn’t adapt to it.
“When Mark was missing, which wasn’t very often, I felt like everything was going awkward for me and I couldn’t pick up any momentum.
“I’m not too disappointed, it was just one of those days. He was fantastic today and made it very difficult for me.
“I’ve had a good week, a lot of fun, so I’ll bin that game off and not worry about it.”
