Latest scores and results from the World Snooker Championship final 2023 as Mark Selby faces Luca Brecel in the best-of-35 final at the Crucible. Brecel came back from nine down to beat Si Jiahui in the first semi-final to make his first world final. Mark Selby then withstood a Mark Allen fightback in the second semi-final to progress to his sixth world final, chasing a fifth world crown.

After 15 days of action it comes down to this: Mark Selby against Luca Brecel in a best-of-35 encounter played out over two days and four sessions.
Brecel, who had never won a match at the Crucible ahead of the 2023 event, has beaten Ricky Walden, Mark Williams, Ronnie O'Sullivan and Si Jiahui on his way to the final. He fought back from nine frames behind to claim a stunning 17-15 victory over Si.
While Selby - a four-time winner after successes in 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2021 - beat Matthew Selt, Gary Wilson, John Higgins and then withstood a Mark Allen fightback on his way to a sixth appearance in a world final.
One more session will be played with Brecel leading 15-10 after storming away on Monday afternoon.

The 2023 World Championship runs from April 15 to May 1. All matches are held at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield.
