John Higgins and David Gilbert’s semi-final will go to a final-frame decider after the four-time world champion Higgins dug deep to level the contest at 16 frames each.

Gilbert came into the final session leading 13-11 and opened with a break of 105 to put himself in touching distance of a first final appearance but runs of 52, 74 and 96 saw Higgins take control of the match.
Yet, Gilbert, runner up at the German Masters this year, bounced back with breaks of 78 and 53 to put himself within a frame of securing the biggest win of his career.
However, the Wizard of Wishaw drew on all of his experience to draw level with a break of 139 to send the match to a 33rd frame.
