Ronnie O'Sullivan eases past Milkins in World Grand Prix first round

Ronnie O'Sullivan began his bid for a fourth ranking title of the season with a 4-0 win over Robert Milkins in the first round of the World Grand Prix.

The world number two - who has won the English Open, Shanghai Masters and UK Championship - produced breaks of 119 and 72 to set up a last-16 meeting with Chinese prodigy Yan Bingtao, who completed a 4-2 victory against Martin Gould.

There was also a surprise win for recent Shoot-Out champion Michael Georgiou, who continued his fine form with a 4-0 drubbing of Luca Brecel.
