Redmond Gerard toasted a double success after victory in the slopestyle event at Snowmass in Aspen as part of the Snowboard World Cup.
Victory for the 17-year-old also sealed his spot in Team USA's Olympic team that will head to Pyeongchang next month.
He produced a best score of 87.28 in an event that was delayed by the bad weather at the Toyota Grand Prix in Aspen.
Japan’s Hiroaki Kunitake was second with an 83.64 while New Zealand’s Tiarn Collins was third with 83.57.
In the women's race, Christy Prior of New Zealand produced a fantastic third and final run of 77.06 to take slopestyle victory.
