The 17-year-old finished behind Scotty James in Utah last weekend and carried over his good form, dominating both qualification and the final in the first World Cup event after the World Championships.
He top-scored with 89.00 points on his first run of the competition and that was enough to see off Japanese compatriot Ruka Hirano – who took silver with 87.50.
Local favourite David Livingstone took bronze with 85.00, securing his first World Cup podium.
Totsuka now leads the overall standings with 2760 points, 550 clear of Hirano.
