Olympic champion Esmee Visser set a new track record en route to another World Cup gold at the Speed Skating World Cup in Poland.

The Dutch superstar finished the 5000m in 7:05.188, 17 seconds inside the previous record at the Lodowa Arena.

Canada's Isabelle Weidemann pushed her hard and finished just one second back to take silver, while Russia's Natalia Voronina took bronze.

It was double delight for the Dutch team as Marcel Bosker matched Visser in the men's 10000m with a win and new track record.

The 21-year-old finished in 13:25.275, one second ahead of Russia's Alexander Rumyantsev while Danila Semerikov finished third.

Elsewhere, Japan beat Russia and the Netherlands to win the ladies team sprint, while Norway beat the Netherlands and Russia in the men's sprint.
