An overjoyed Lauren Price added another piece of silverware to her glittering year after coming agonisingly close to the Women's World Boxing Championship final in New Delhi.

The Welsh boxer lost to Nouchka Mireille Fontijn of Netherlands on a split points decision, after more than holding her own across the three rounds against the tournament favourite in their semi-final.
But the 24-year-old was far from going home empty-handed, claiming the British team's sole bronze medal of the competition in India.
And with a narrow loss to the Olympic silver medallist and top seed, this proved another impressive notch on what has already been an impressive 2018 for the Commonwealth champion.
"I am over the moon the way I performed against the world number one and Olympic silver medallist, who was favourite to win," said Price, who beat Poland's Elzbieta Wojcik in the quarter-final to guarantee herself a medal.
"It could have gone either way and a lot of people thought I had it, and it was on a split decision.
"In a way I am gutted I did not get the decision but on the other hand I have had the best year so far, medalling in three major tournaments.
"I have proven to myself and a lot of other people I am there with the best in the world."
