Super Suzanne triumphs in Turin

Olympic gold medallist Suzanne Schulting proved a class above the rest as she clinched women's 1500m gold at the Short Track World Cup in Turin.

The 21-year-old, who won 1000m gold at last year's Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, pulled off a successful Italian job as she crossed the line first in 2:24.991, getting the better of South Korea’s Ji-Yoo Kim and German Anna Seidel.
In the men's race, Gun-Woo Kim lead home a Korean one-two as he topped the podium in 2:12.823, followed home by countryman Hwan-Kyung Hong.
Canada's Steve Dubois had to settle for third.
In the 500m event, Italian sprinter Martina Valcepina delighted the home crowd as she won gold in 43.942, getting the better of Poland's Natalia Maliszewska and Canada’s Kim Boutin.
Korea's Dae-Heon Hwang ruled the roost in the men’s 500m, coming home in 41.128 as Hungary's Shaolin Sandor Liuand Canada's Cedrick Blais completed the podium.
